Wings of Eagles

Wings of Eagles, a therapeutic riding ranch, has long been something Leigh has supported.  Initially Leigh helped the owner by assessing and working with horses that were donated, to ensure they would be suitable for use with the kids that would be visiting the ranch.

But once the ranch got established, it became apparent Leigh’s artistic skills, including planning and coordinating volunteers executing art projects, was where her talent could best be used.  From supervising artists of all ages as they competed in a local art competition to benefit non-profits, to painting pictures of the ranch’s actual horses as part of the “adopt-a-horse” program, Leigh’s skills were put to good use.  And every worthwhile endeavor needs a catchy logo and sign at the front entrance.  This one was designed by one of her former students and painted by Leigh and a group of volunteers.
